hi dolls!

i'm finally settled in my new apartment in the city. i looooove it here, it's pretty freakin' adorable. i've started school and like all my classes except for one. it's in english grammar and sentence structure.. i fell asleep in my second class. oops ;) but i love all my other classes; i'm taking newfoundland folklore, german history, modern european history and shakespeare! looove.

my days here in the city have been spent walking around exploring downtown, getting caught in the rain, decorating and unpacking, making lottttss of yummy food, naps naps naps, shopping at thrift stores and the mall, trying to find my way around campus and loooving the city i now live in!

before i show you pictures of my room, i want to let you know that i'm going to do a little giveaway! if you want to recieve a little package full of things in the post from me, simply comment on this post and tell me your favorite thing about where you live! that's it! i've never done anything like this before but i really hope it works out okay. i'll choose a winner randomly on wednesday, september 15th sometime in the evening. good luck ;)

to my room! after a full day of unpacking, organising and decorating, this is the result and my little room for the next year at least!

bye for now! and good luck :)
love loooove

i left a comment about how adorable your room looked before I even read about the contest. x)
i'm new to following your blog, what college are you attending?

my favorite thing about my hometown (I live in northern Michigan) has to be that all of the seasons. winter is always really cold and snowy; spring is lush and rainy; summer is warm and humid; and the colors in fall are magnificant. <33

hello :)

your room looks so pretty and cosy!!

im from Reading in england, and most people dont like it here because they see the built up, grey areas that arent particularly pretty, but i was born here and lov it here, because i feel as tough i know all its secrets. all its little quirks and all the little hiden away areas that are so lovely, such as the old miniature railway in a very secret, hiddden corner of the park that no one knows about.

the giveaway is a lovely idea!!

I love the swallow by your door handle.

My favourite place about where i live in England is that i can be in a bustling city in 40 minutes on a train, and five minutes from my house i can be in beautiful open country side. Just standing on the edge of my village and looking out at it helps me to breathe more easily. x

you were great in decorating your room :) it seems to be pretty comfortable...

well, my favorite thing about where I live is how people are calm, so i can found a lot of people in a good mood, and helpful, and people that like to talk just to talk even if they will never see you again. i think that's it :)

oh this is so fun! :)

hmm, let's see! there's this amazing fried chicken stall just down the road and it's just really delicious! they only open at 2pm each day and by 2, there is a long queue right outside their stall! sometimes it even drags till the walkway of the shops. it's amazing! :) it was my granddad's favorite stall, and now, it's mine, my cousin's, my boyfriend's and practically all who've tasted it love it!

and i love your room, sara! you have this amazing touch when you settle into a new place - you always make 'em all look so cosy and beautiful. :) and not to forget that you look gorgeous yourself, too!

take care, and can't wait to find out about the winners! <3 xx
