my tiny chalkboard couldn't contain my thoughts and the words i wanted to remember
so i exploded them onto my walls.
and have them turn my dreams into sweet stories so i wake smiling.
i made envelopes for secret letters
and i walked in the snow with the sun beating down on my face
love the envelopes! dreamy walls.

I love that song :)
ReplyDeleteOh dear Sara this is such a beautiful post. Your envelopes are stunning. Cosmic Love was the first song I heard by Florence, and it literally burst my heart into stardust. But I can't listen to it while smiling or dancing; to me it is rather a sad song, good for lonely nights and rainy-eyed daydreaming. Lots of love, x
